If you don’t want to be disturbed, whilst staying at the fantastic Gleneagles resort, then you no longer need to miss out on the Turn Down service treats. These will now be left in this lovely Turndown Bag and hung on your door handle. Another examples of the team at Gleneagles going the extra mile in luxury service.
Another project with a fantastic foil is the Jumeirah Whats On In London guide. We print this job each quarter, but this issue has a particularly striking Popset Sunshine Yellow cover and a matt white foil which makes the job stand out!
It’s not too often a job we produce makes headline news on all major media outlets but the Scottish Labour Party Manifesto document is certainly getting them talking this week.
A burst bound 120 page document turned around in 48 hours for the media launch!
The much anticipated Birnam Brasserie at The Gleneagles Resort opened its doors at the start of this month and it looks fantastic! The replacement for Deseo is a huge improvement and the printed collateral does not disappoint.
Working closely with Ennismore Design in London the team at 21 Colour have delivered a superb range of collateral. With each of the items a mix of litho and letterpress printed on Rives Design, an embossed tactile paper, it epitomises luxury and class.
The team at 21 Colour have just produced a bespoke chocolate box to help celebrate 100 years of The Ivy restaurant in London.
The litho paper-over-board, limited edition, diamond shaped box is filled with freshly made salted caramel and amaretto truffles. The design reflects The Ivy’s iconic, stained glass windows.
It’s the first project we have done for The Ivy and we are delighted to be working in partnership with Caprice holdings.
We were delighted to be selected by leading Glasgow design agency, Tangent Graphic, as their print partner for the production of the 2017 Dewar Arts Awards brochure.
Flawlessly printed to ISO 12647 standards on or Heidelberg XL75 using a combination of Edixion Offset 350gsm for the cover and 120gsm for the text – the results were truly amazing.

We have just produced a great little set of cards for the new, up and coming restaurant in London’s Holland Park. Flat Three is a a fusion of Japanese and Nordic inspired food and is being hailed as one of the best restaurants in the area.
The cards are printed with litho and letterpress printing to give notecards, gift cards and business cards that luxurious feel that more and more people are looking for.
Our latest investment at 21 Colour would certainly have turned a few heads in the print industry!
Instead of buying another multi-colour, hi-speed litho press or a new state-of-the-art digital press we opted to go back in time with two ‘old’ Heidelberg presses that we saved from the scrap heap and had reconditioned.
We have a B2 Heidelberg cylinder, that we have converted to foil, and one B3 Heidelberg platen that’s printing letterpress and forme cutting.
“We’ve had so many enquiries for letterpress it was an obvious next investment”
Philip Cole, Operations Director.
December sees the opening of our London Sales Office on Great Portland Street, which is an exciting new opportunity for our business.
Trevor Price, MD, said “I am spending more and more time in London and our business in the city is growing steadily. We are very much seen as the ‘go to guys’ for luxury print in the Hospitality sector in London and we needed a base to work from in the city. In addition, Adam Jamieson, one of our consultants is now living full-time in London, and this base is essential to enable him to develop lots of new clients.”

This year we are supporting an old friend of the business, Kerrie Lo, who is a trustee of the Birmingham Christmas Shelter. We, along with Vision Paper, have covered the cost to produce a range of cards which have been designed by pupils of two schools, Great Bridge Primary and John Taylor High School.
These cards are being sold to raise vital funds for Birmingham Christmas Shelter. The Shelter offers food, warmth, shelter and companionship to homeless and lonely people in the Birmingham area over the Christmas period, welcoming up to 200 guests daily. The doors are open 24hrs to all, irrespective of gender, colour, race, religion or sexual orientation.
The Shelter is entirely dependent on donations and volunteers – if you would like to help please visit www.birminghamchristmasshelter.org
