Lothian Buses is fully committed to reducing its own environmental impact.
Through their industry leading work with exhaust retro-fitting and investment in new diesel-electric hybrid buses, they have significantly cut both air pollution emissions and carbon footprint.
Over the last 3 years around 100 buses have been replaced by hybrid vehicles or fitted with a specialist exhaust to reduce levels of key pollutants by over 70%.
