In recognition of using Carbon Balanced Paper from 1st October 2012 to 31st March 2013, the NHS in partnership with 21 Colour have offset the equivalent of 13030kgs of Carbon Dioxide.
This will enable the World Land Trust to preserve in perpetuity 1090m2 of critically threatened tropical forest at WLT Carbon Balanced Paper project sites.
21 Colour are an approved supplier within the NHS Purchasing Framework and overall service provider to the NHS for all printing products.
NHS Health Scotland and 21Colour are working in partnership to make a real environmental difference, by reducing the production Carbon Footprint associated to paper based communications.
NHS Health Scotland are indeed delighted with the World Land Trust Certificate, stating the project as an asset for the NHS Health Scotland. The project has been identified as a topic of key achievement by staff.
