Man Roland 500 B2 Presses
The company has taken a concerted decision not to buy one of the very popular long perfector printing presses, although these presses can be the most economical route for production of certain jobs, the directors of 21 Colour felt that the ‘orange peeling’ effect that results on every job printed by a long perfector does not fit within the top end quality standards of 21 Colour. The company invested in two Man Roland 500 B2 presses in 2006 and these machines are still best ‘in class’ in the B2 colour market, both have inline coaters, 5 and 6 units respectively and run at a top rated 18,000 sheets per hour as standard, the presses also have a closed loop colour pilot colour management system that manages colour consistently on every job produced.
