With the prepress, MIS and JDF advances in the last few years the customer services and prepress departments at 21colour have seen huge changes.
The customer services team now take on a great deal of traditional prepress roles, like producing plates and proofs, as well as automatic page imposition. Whilst the prepress operators use their skills to problem solve and print on the digital and large format presses.
The main driver in the prepress department is the insite server that allows customers to manage data, flightcheck files, view/annotate proofs and download artwork.
