A lot of print businesses have had a ‘green wash’ but being an environmentally aware business does not just come with a few badges, the whole ethos of the company has to have an environmental slant on all of the investments, decisions and processes. 21 Colour have made many decisions over the years that have reduced the impact of our products be it; using more expensive soya based inks for the last 10 years as standard, only using FSC & PEFC grades of paper, investing in and developing our internet based proofing and file transfer system Insite, developing a Web 2 Print job creation and stock management system E4 Print and developing a Environmental Quality Management System.
Although we have stated above it is not just about collecting badges, 21 Colour have been FSC & PEFC accredited since 2007.
